About This Ceremonial Sound Healing Recording
This recording was made at Damanhur, Italy - a federation of spiritual communities - at the Hall of Water in their Temples of Human Kind. This recording answers an ancestral calling by Antonio Aversano to return to Italy and activate his connection with sound on the land from which his ancestors came. Antonio brought with him Native American inspired flutes and a one of a kind portable cedar wood Didgeridoo flute with the intention to awaken the song of his Soul while visiting the sacred temples of Damanhur.
About Damanhur
Damanhur was founded in 1975 from the inspiration of Falco Tarassaco. His enlightened and pragmatic vision created a fertile reality based on solidarity, sharing, love, and respect for the environment. As a result, Damanhur has slowly expanded into a United Nations award-winning sustainable eco community that has captivated attention around the world as a laboratory for experimenting with sustainable ways of living, in harmony with nature and its elements and forces. About The Hall of Water
Dedicated to the feminine principle and the female divine forces, this hall has the shape of a chalice, a symbol of receptivity and welcoming. In the Hall of Water, blue light diffuses through the Tiffany glass cupola above, giving the sensation of being immersed in an underwater atmosphere.
Metaphysical diagrams, selfic schemes and ancestral symbols are painted on the rounded walls of the Hall of Water. The Hall is a vast library, which serves to reawaken profound memories for all who enter within it.
The four serpent-dragons on the walls are made with gold leaf, and they symbolize the emergence of four Synchronic Lines, the pathways of energy that unite distant worlds in the galaxy. At the left of the entrance, a rock alcove hosts the main altar of the Hall. Behind the sphere on the altar, a fire is always lit. And the mosaic on the floor depicts six dolphins inside a six-pointed star with a double square at the center, which is the symbol of the flag of Damanhur.
This Hall is available for meditations on the life cycles, in preparation for childbirth, to reawaken profound memories, and to enter into contact with one’s feminine essence. Because of its extraordinary acoustics, it is an ideal place for singing and composing music.
